December 21-26, 2019

Topic: The Yiddish Housewives' Revolt (based on my book-in-progress)

I'll be discussing radical Jewish women's roles in the Communist movement, the Civil Rights Movement, the anti-Vietnam resistance, and the nuclear disarmament movement. What prompted Jewish immigrant housewives to put their lives and families on the line, and to become activists? And how did their activism change as they became Americans? Join me to learn more.
